Yes. We offer delivery service for every product. However, limitations on delivery pricing applies:
- Every product (except for microwaves and vacuums) purchased on our website includes a freedelivery service for all customers located within 50km of Melbourne CBD.
- Customers located outside 50km of Melbourne CBD and customers who purchase a microwave and/or vacuum are still entitled to a delivery service, however this is not free - please contact us and request a quote for delivery prior to purchase.
- Customers who purchase a microwave and/or vacuum AND who also purchase any other type of product (fridge, washer, dryer, tv...etc.) concurrently are entitled to free delivery service for all those products in that transaction.
How do I PLACE A DELIVERY ORDER?
At check-out, select 'Delivery' under 'Shipping Method'. Once you place the order, our staff will contact you within the next business day to arrange a delivery time that suits you.
If you are purchasing a microwave and/or vacuum, or you are located outside of 50km of Melbourne CBD, selecting 'Delivery' will not automatically charge the extra cost on the order. We encourage you to contact us prior to purchase so that we can create a separate listing for you which includes the delivery cost. Alternatively, if you place the order without the delivery cost, we will contact you within the next business day to arrange the extra delivery cost and time.
How soon can you deliver?
We can deliver within the next 7 business days of purchase order. Sometimes, we can deliver the next business day or even the same business day! If it's urgent, please contact us to find out the next available delivery time.
Where can I pick up my purchase?
Our warehouse is located in Tottenham and our stores are located in Brimbank, Broadmeadows, Thomastown, Point Cook, Dandenong and Sunshine. Let us know your nearest store, and we will relocate the product to that store for your convenience.
What payment methods can I use?
We accept PayPal for all our eBay Orders. PayPal accepts MasterCard, Visa, and American Express, plus direct bank transfer. We also accept credit cards directly and you may contact us for assistance.
Although we do accept cheques, the item will not be dispatched until the received cheque is cleared.
Do you have a lay-by option available?
Currently, only our retail branches offer lay-by. However, if you find something you like on our website, contact us and we'll try to reserve the product for you to put it on lay-by in-store!
Are the items sold brand new?
Some items offered are brand new, but the majority of the products are manufacturer refurbished. Please see specific item for details. All products include the standard Smart Electrical warranty when applicable.
Will I receive a Tax Invoice?
Yes. All orders will receive a Tax Invoice included with the delivery of the goods or sent via email.
What if I require installation of my product?
Unfortunately, we do not offer this service at present. Please contact your local appliances store or handy man for assistance.
Can I purchase extended warranty?
Yes. Every factory 2nd product includes extended warranty options. However, extended warranty is unavailable for second-hand items and some brand new products. Please see the warranty section for further details.
What happens if my item is faulty or breaks down?
We’re always here to help! Please send us a warranty service request and we'll have our certified technicians fix your products to full working order, or we'll offer to exchange it to a different product where necessary. Refunds will be made where it satisfies Australian Consumer Law as outlined under our warranty section.
Is Smart Electrical eBay Store the same as Smart Electrical Retail Shops?
Yes. The Smart Electrical eBay store operates under Smart Electrical (Australia).
